The BMES Chapter at KAUST started in 2020, as a platform for the BESE students inclined into Biomedical Engineering to communicate and work on their academic and professional concerns.
The mission as a Chapter is to connect, integrate and encourage the biomedical engineering community and allied scientific fields. To enter the global Bioengineering Community, educating our members and connecting them to a broad network of opportunities.
"The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is the professional society for biomedical engineering and bioengineering. BMES membership has grown to over 5,000 members, with over 115 BMES Student Chapters.
The Vision of the BMES is to serve as the world's leading society of professionals devoted to developing and using engineering and technology to advance human health and well-being."
